学校简介：英属哥伦比亚大学（许多华人称之为卑诗大学）始建于1915年，是英属哥伦比亚省最早的大学，起初为研究性合作机构，后来逐渐发展为综合性大学。在不到100年的时间里，英属哥伦比亚大学成为蜚声全球的研究中心，拥有世界一流的具有艺术造型的设施，英属哥伦比亚大学的科研很出色，共设置了4个联邦政府资助的研究中心，重点研究病菌病理、蛋白质工程、疾病遗传基因和国际发展问题，此外还有图书馆、美术中心、亚洲中心、地质学和动物学博物馆、日本植物研究所等专门的研究机构及设施，其中图书馆是全加第三大图书馆。英属哥伦比亚大学现有全日制学生人数为25,108，非全日制学生为7,705人。

申请及学费：
本科入学要求高中以上的学历，外国学生要有托福570分，或雅思成绩6.5分（其中单科不低于6），或完成了英语学院的IEP
6级课程。国际学生的本科申请费为100加元。学费约为13,830加元（30学分）至17,057加元不等。
入学时间 : 每年设两个学期，开学时间为每年的一月、九月。
